Our product range also includes the processing of extremely resilient plastics, e.g. PPS. This material guarantees very high levels of abrasion and temperature resistance. PPS is a semi-crystalline high-performance plastic. The combination of aromatic monomer units via sulphur atoms produces particularly resistant polymers whose good mechanical properties are retained even at temperatures well above 200°C, so that continuous use is possible up to 240°C, depending on the load. For short periods of time, they can also withstand loads at temperatures of up to 270°C. The chemical resistance of PPS to almost all solvents, many acids and alkalis and, to a certain extent, to atmospheric oxygen, even at high temperatures, is also outstanding.
